First Avenue and 89.3 The Current are pleased to present An Evening with The Revolution at First Avenue on Sunday, July 23. The iconic group return to First Avenue following three nights of sold out performances in September 2016. The Revolution will be performing July 22 at the sold out Rock The Garden; First Avenue’s encore on July 23 offers fans an intimate show and second chance to see them live. General Admission tickets, VIP, and Meet & Greet packages will be available to the public on Friday, June 30 at 11:00 a.m.
Portland-based trio (and sisters), Joseph, pluck at the heartstrings with their perfect harmonies and warm acoustic stylings. Originally the solo project of eldest sister Natalie Closner, she eventually recruited younger twin sisters Meegan and Allison to form the full band as it stands today. The trio has played in the Twin Cities several times, but this will be their first performance headlining the Mainroom. Catch them on Saturday, September 23.
Alt-rock multi-instrumentalist and vocalist St. Vincent (a.k.a. Annie Clark) just announced a run of international tour dates–her first in over two years–and has teased at a forthcoming album slated to release later this year. Few details have surfaced about the new record, but as the singer told Variety: “Based on the amount of material I have, I could have put out three records by now. But I needed this one, especially with where we are in the world, to be the best thing that I’ve ever done by leaps and bounds. And that takes time. That’s something I’ve never really given myself, but it was nice. Now I’m ready to get back in the ring.” Catch the Fear The Future tour at the Palace Theatre on Saturday, November 18.

Swedish indie pop-rockers Miike Snow have been busy in the last year. The group released their third studio album, iii, in March 2016 and have gone on tour in support of the new record (including a stop at First Avenue last summer!). Their most recent venture is a collaboration with Björn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John and Lykke Li, to form pop supergroup Liv. They've released a few singles and teased about a full album of new music in the works. See Miike Snow in the Mainroom on July 3.
