FINAL CREATIVE CITY MARKET OF 2015 CELEBRATES ART OF MAKING IN MINNEAPOLIS, INCLUDES PERFORMANCES &
Creative City Market is a FREE monthly experience in the heart of our downtown that celebrates the art of making. The public is invited to participate in an evening under the setting sun surrounded by Minnesota made food, beer, art, wares and performance.
The Creative City Market will offer a variety of vendors selling locally made merchandise curated by The Musicant Group, food, such as brats and roasted corn on the cob, and Minnesota craft beer from the MCC’s Craft Bar and Lounge will be for sale and there will be various entertainment and activities (listed below).

This is the last hurrah of summer, and final month to view mini_polis in the Plaza through Oct. 15, when it will come down for the season. · A beer garden featuring selections from the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild from the Craft Bar and Lounge at the Minneapolis Convention Center available for sale

· 4 – 9 P.M. PRESERVATION: FERMENTING WORKSHOP with Jess Hirsch and Ginny Sims,
o Learn how to preserve food safely through fermentation and participate in a discussion on self-sufficiency.

o A live storytelling play with movement, telling the colonial history of Somalia using balloons.

o Innovative, potent and dynamic neo-soul singer PaviElle French's sound often has the faint flavor of Sly and the Family Stone.
· 8 – 9 P.M. MN MADE MSPIFF MOVIE: “MEDICINE OF THE WOLF,” presented by the Film Society of Minneapolis and St. Paul – film will be shown on a big screen so bring a blanket to settle in on the lawn and enjoy!
o Filmmaker Julia Huffman travels to Minnesota and into wolf country to pursue the deep intrinsic value of brother wolf and our forgotten promise to him. “Medicine of the Wolf” will take viewers on a journey to understand the powerful relationship that we have with the wolf by interviewing prominent people who represent the different levels of connection to this ancient and iconic species – from Ojibwe creation stories that reflect our interconnectivity to all things, to a lifetime of observations of a complex and dynamic family unit, to a wolf scientist expressing his layered findings in an over 50-year study of the delicate web that wolves weave into our ecosystem.
