"Fifty Shades of White" Opens Tonight at Brave New Workshop

Just a reminder that tonight (Friday, Nov 16) is opening night of the Brave New Workshop's 278th comedy revue, "Fifty Shades of White: A Minnesota XXXmas."

Show description:

While other theatrical holiday traditions might include the likes of "The Christmas Carol" or "The Nutcracker," those preferring less traditional belly laughs and a more satirical look at the holidays have made the BNW holiday show an annual must-see tradition. To many in our community, it wouldn't be winter in Minnesota without BNW's sharp, funny take on the holiday season and all of its traditions, both pleasant and painful.

"Fifty Shades of White: A Minnesota XXXmas" features BNW cast members Lauren Anderson, Taj Ruler, Andy Hilbrands, and Bobby Gardner. All of these actors will be fresh off their run with the crowd-pleasing fall political-themed show, "The Rainbow Election: Mommies and Mormons and Gays, Oh My!"

"Fifty Shades of White" is directed by Caleb McEwen, with Josh Eakright providing additional writing, Peter Guertin returning as musical director and Dan Peltzman joining the crew for the first time to provide technical direction.
