Free Family Fun Day: The Moon
Sunday, December 1, from 1-3 p.m., at Kroening Interpretive Center, in North Mississippi Regional Park, Minneapolis. Drop in anytime! Explore a different topic each week through hands on activities that everyone can enjoy at their own pace. This program is free and open to all ages.
IN THE WEST METRO
Creature Feature: Amphibians
Sunday, December 1, from 1-3 p.m., at Lowry Nature Center, in Carver Park Reserve, Victoria. Meet the live featured creature, watch as it is fed, and make a craft. This program is free and open to all ages.
In Lauras House: Lantern
Saturday, December 7, from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., at Lowry Nature Center, in Carver Park Reserve, Victoria. Create a punched tin lantern like the pioneers. Learn dance steps to fiddle music, play hide and seek in the Big Woods. Warm up with cider and a story. Cost is $5 and reservations are required. Call 763-559-6700 to make a reservation and reference activity number #111301-00. This program is for ages 5+. There is a 20 percent discount for groups of four or more.

Fiber Fun Nights
Thursday, December 5, from 7-9 p.m., at Richardson Nature Center, in Hyland Lake Park Reserve, Bloomington. Join park staff and new friends as we work on all sorts of fiber-related projects from knitting, crochet, spinning, quilting, and any other fiber-related activities. Whether you would like to learn or teach, you are welcome here! This is not a class, but an informal gathering to work on projects, share ideas, and socialize. This program is free and open to all ages.

Three Rivers Park District is a natural resources-based park system that manages park reserves, regional parks, regional trails and special-use facilities in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. The Park District offers facilities for every season, including picnicking, swimming, creative play, boating, fishing, downhill skiing,
