IN THE NORTH METRO
Walk With a Naturalist
Sunday, October 20, from 1-2 p.m., at Silverwood Park, St. Anthony. Join a naturalist for an hour-long walk along the paved trails at Silverwood. Well keep our eyes and ears open for seasonal birds and other park inhabitants as we stroll along the lake, through the savanna, and into the woods. Bring binoculars if you have them! This program is free and open to all ages.
Feeding Frenzy
Sunday, October 20, from 1-3 p.m., at Eastman Nature Center, in Elm Creek Park Reserve, Dayton. Fun on the food chain gang! Look on as the salamander snacks, turtles taste, and frogs feed. Dangle worms while they are devoured! Watch the snacking snakes. Different animals will be fed throughout the afternoon. Bring a camera! Drop in anytime. This program is free and open to all ages.
Lets Get Started
Sunday, October 20, from 1-3 p.m., at Silverwood Park, St. Anthony. Enjoy a free art activity on us! During this monthly program, families can drop in and try their hand at something new, check out the current show in our gallery, and explore the grounds. Stay for a while or pack a picnic and spend your afternoon at Silverwood. Each month we will have a new theme that features some of our upcoming activities at the park. This program is free and open to all ages.
IN THE WEST METRO
Raptors in the Yard at Carver
Sunday, October 20, from 2-4 p.m., at Lowry Nature Center, in Carver Park Reserve, Victoria. Meet the Lowry raptors up close and personal and learn about these amazing birds of prey. Cameras are welcome! This program is free and open to all ages.
Saturday Mornings on the Farm
Saturday, October 26, from 9:30 a.m.-noon, at Gale Woods Farm, Minnetrista. Explore the Gale Woods Farm barn where you can meet animals, assist a Gale Woods farmer with chores, and participate in other seasonal farm activities. Cost is $5.

Free Family Fun Day: Raptors in the Yard
Sunday, October 20, from 3-4 p.m., at Richardson Nature Center, in Hyland Lake Park Reserve, Bloomington. Meet the Richardson raptors up close and personal and learn about these amazing birds of prey. Cameras are welcome! This program is free and open to all ages.
Autumn Hiking Adventures with a Naturalist
Saturday, October 26, from 1:30-3 p.m., at Richardson Nature Center, in Hyland Lake Park Reserve, Bloomington. Let the leaves crinkle under your feet as you enjoy the beautiful colors, look for wildlife and learn about the park with a naturalist. We will hike approximately two miles on woodchip and mown trails. Binoculars are available upon request. Cost is $5 and this program is open to ages 5+.

Three Rivers Park District is a natural resources-based park system that manages park reserves, regional parks, regional trails and special-use facilities in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. The Park District offers facilities for every season, including picnicking, swimming, creative play, boating, fishing, downhill skiing,
