FAMILY CLAY FOR GRANDPARENT & CHILD SILVERWOOD PARK
MINNEAPOLIS (Nov. 16, 2011) - Grab your nearest grandparent to discover the unique qualities of clay through art-making. Youll squish and roll clay with your fingers and discover how it easily changes shape. Well explore a different topic each class, inspired by mammals, fish and birds. You and your grandparent will work together making a project and at the end of each class, youll paint your project with bright colors. Dress for mess. Sign up for one class or all three. Classes meet on Wednesdays from 10-11:30 a.m., at Silverwood Park, St. Anthony. The series starts on Wednesday, December 7, and the topic is fur. On Wednesday, January 4, the topic is scales and on Wednesday, February 1, the topic is feathers.
Cost is $15 per class and reservations are required by the Monday prior to each class. Call 763-559-6700 to make a reservation and reference activity number #137803-03. This program is for ages 3-6. The grandparent does not pay.
