Photo Opp: Failed 35W Bridge Piece Arrives at Mill City Museum Tomorrow

Media are invited to view the installation of a 35W Bridge gusset plate from MNHS collections in the museum’s Mill Commons, beginning at 10:30 am tomorrow, July 28. The bridge remnant is a commemorative display for the 10th anniversary of the bridge’s collapse, on view July 28 through Aug. 30. This piece was identified as the first to fail in the collapse and was part of the National Transportation Safety Board’s investigation into the disaster.
