HASTINGS, Minn. (Nov. 21, 2014) Extreme Sandbox will host Extreme Border Battle 2014 an opportunity for Vikings and Packers fans to participate in a fundraising competition in which the winner gets to brazenly flaunt the ultimate display of in-your-face good fun, bad sportsmanship toward the opposing team.
The challenge? The team whose fans donate the most to Crescent Cove between now and the end of the game on Sunday wins. Vikings fans can submit their donations here: www.razoo.com/story/Go-Vikings. Packers fans can submit their donations here: www.razoo.com/story/Go-Packers
Updates will be posted on Extreme Sandboxs Facebook page: www.facebook.com/ExtremeSandbox
The prize? A construction excavator will lift, drop, smash, maim, mangle and demolish a minivan painted with the opponents team color and logo.
The grand finale? The demolition will take place at 2 p.m. CST on Monday, Nov. 24. Extreme Sandbox and Crescent Cove will post the demolition video and photos on their Facebook pages. The video also will be posted on YouTube.
The ultimate winner? Crescent Cove, a non-profit organization working to provide respite and end-of-life care to children with life-limiting conditions, and their families.
The rivalry between Vikings and Packer fans can be fierce and car smashes are always a favorite option and Extreme Sandbox, so we thought it would be a blast to combine those two elements into one event, said Randy Stenger, Extreme Sandbox founder and CEO. The result is an extreme, in-your-face diss to the opposing team and its fans, and the ultimate winner is a really great charity.
