Get out and get active this winter! Sign up for one of these great classes that can get you started on a lifetime enjoyment of cross-country skiing. Reservations are required and classes fill fast, so call 763-559-6700 to make a reservation and reference the activity number listed below.
ELM CREEK PARK RESERVE
Ski-Skating I: Basics
Sunday, December 22, from 9:30-11 a.m., at Elm Creek Park Reserve, Maple Grove. Learn beginning techniques, including efficient edging, gliding and control. Prior classic skiing experience is recommended. Cost is $24 or $40 with ski rental. Reference activity number #122391-03. This program is for ages 13+.
Classic Beginner I: Basics
Sunday, December 22, from noon-1:30 p.m., at Elm Creek Park Reserve, Maple Grove. Balance, stride and glide! This class covers cross-country skiing basics, including proper equipment fitting, diagonal stride, stopping, turning, and a brief introduction to small hills. For novice skiers and those who want to review. Cost is $20 or $31 with ski rental. Reference activity number #122388-03. This program is for ages 13+.
