Minneapolis, MN (October 3, 2013) The Cowles Center is hosting a free community open house on Sunday, October 20 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. During the three-hour-long event, visitors are invited to take a self-guided, behind-the-scenes tour of the building, meet the staff, and enjoy refreshments from Masons Restaurant.
The day will feature sneak-peek performances by James Sewell Ballet, TU Dance, Zenon Dance Company, and B-Boy J-Sun. There will also be the opportunity for dance lessons in the Target Education Studio, ticket giveaways, and photo opportunities with Crumpet from Frank Theaters production Santaland Diaries.
We are opening all the doors of The Cowles Center and sharing this accessible entertainment and education option in our community, said Lynn A. Von Eschen, executive director. This event is free and for the entire family. We want everyone to feel welcome at The Cowles Center.
