Cocktails at the Castle: Dynamite Night is May 15
One of the newest and hottest signs of spring in the Twin Cities is a party at the American Swedish Institute. The Cocktails at the Castle series makes an explosive return as the American Swedish Institute (ASI) puts a fashionable spin on a night out at the historic Turnblad Mansion and its latest exhibition, Nobel Creations. ASIs popular event has been called the museum party done right and the best event concept in the Twin Cities two years in a row.
Alfred Nobel invented dynamite but he left his fortune to celebrate the best of the best of human achievements with the creation of the Nobel prizes.

ABOUT THE AMERICAN SWEDISH INSTITUTE: The American Swedish Institute (ASI) is a vibrant arts and culture organization, historic mansion and museum located at 2600 Park Avenue near downtown Minneapolis. Founded in 1929 by Swedish immigrant newspaper publisher Swan J. Turnblad, ASI serves as a gathering place for people to share stories and experiences around universal themes of tradition, migration, craft and the arts, all informed by enduring ties to Sweden. ASI attracts more than 100,000 people each year for tours of the historic Turnblad Mansion, exhibits, programs and classes and events that connect the community to contemporary Nordic culture and cultural heritage.
