SUNDAY NIGHTS IN DECEMBER
Vincent Serves Up Beef Tenderloin, Grilled Sturgeon, Cassoulet With A Side of Mozart, Hayden and Vivaldi
MINNEAPOLIS, MN, November 21, 2014 -- The melodies of classical composers Mozart, Hayden, Vivaldi and Schubert will merge with contemporary French cuisine by chef Vincent Francoual, when his Vincent A Restaurant in downtown Minneapolis opens for four Sunday nights of casual, classical music combined with French bistro dining.
Every Sunday from Thanksgiving through Christmas (November 30, December 7, 14 and 21), the Nicollet Mall landmark will offer Vincents newest bistro menu from 5:00 9:00 p.m. Diners will be serenaded (beginning at 6:00 pm) by the Four Voices String Quartet, which features members of the Minnesota Orchestra, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and Minnesota Opera Orchestra.
Among the dishes available during these four Sunday Classical Music evenings: Vincents Pan Seared Beef Tenderloin, Cassoulet with Tarbais Beans and Garlic Sausage, Grilled Sturgeon with Hon-Shimeji Mushrooms, Pan Seared Scallops and Coq au Vin in Red Wine. And yes, he will be serving his Vincent Burger!
Chef Francoual was recognized as the 2014 Community Hero at the fourth annual Charlie Awards at the Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis this past week, honoring his raising $321,000 over 10 years for the non-profit Fraser Community Services through his Chef Vincent Triathlon Team.
Vincent A Restaurant is located at 1100 Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis, across the street from Orchestra Hall. Valet parking will be available for the regular $6 fee.
