Since its debut at Country radio, Parmalee has earned over 305 million Pandora streams, 51 million plays on Spotify, over 31 million YouTube/ VEVO views, and 1.4 million Shazam subscribers. Heralded as "Country Music's Breakout Stars" by MSN Entertainment, Parmalee has supported Brad Paisley and Jake Owen on national tours while finding time to perform on NBC's TODAY show, The Late Late Show w/ Craig Ferguson, FOX & Friends, MLB Central's Studio 21, The Queen Latifah Show and more. Now Parmalee - comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals/guitar and drums, respectively), cousin Barry Knox (bass) and life-long best friend Josh McSwain (guitar) - returns with the lead single from its sophomore album, the universal hometown anthem, "Roots," which is sure to propel them into Country music superstardom.
K102 contest winners get access to the dirt dance, but all rodeo fans are welcome to stay and enjoy the live entertainment.
Cinch World's Toughest Rodeo showcases champion cowboys from around the United States competing in bareback riding, saddle bronc riding or bull riding, while the ladies will be vying for the championship title in barrel racing. The top two in each event will return for a second time to go head-to-head to determine the night's champion. Before the rodeo each night beginning at 6 p.m. fans are invited to come early and partake in the interactive activities for all ages including pony rides, all access meet and greets with cowboys and entertainers, hop in the clown's barrel for photos, sit on Midnight the bull in the bucking chutes, or get up close and personal with the Cinch World's Toughest Rodeo animal superstars. The first 500 children (12 and under) Friday night will receive a free cowboy hat.
New this year, Cinch World's Toughest Rodeo will feature Bull Jumpers and you have NEVER seen anything like this. Emmanuel Lataste, professional Bull Jumper from Dex, France will show off his unbelievable athletic talent and nerves of steel as he takes extreme sport to another level. Bull Jumping, a sport directly linked to South Western French tradition called "Course Landaise" will include more than 15 jumps and maneuvers over a four-year-old charging Mexican fighting bull.
