Tuesday, September 10, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., or 1-3 p.m., at Silverwood Park, St. Anthony. Drop off your kids for a whirlwind of fun. Each weeks activities are based on a different childrens book with a nature-inspired art theme. We will spend part of every class exploring what autumn brings to our life-filled wetlands, woods and prairies; then get messy as we cut, paste, paint or sculpt! Dress for the weather and bring a light snack, water bottle, and a bag to keep all your projects together. Cost is $10 and reservations are required. Monday, September 9, from 9:30-11 a.m., at Gale Woods Farm, Minnetrista. Come explore the farm and learn more with your child through hands-on activities. Take a hike on your own to see the wonders of the farm. This is an adult/child class. Families are welcome. Adults must accompany children and pay the program fee. Drop off your kids and investigate fall changes in Hyland Lake Park Reserve. We will end the day by making a craft and having a snack brought from home.
