Brave New Workshop Hosts The Turkeys' Comedy Party in the ETC Theatre
Minneapolis, MN - Twin Cities comedy powerhouse group The Turkeys are back at the Brave New Workshop (BNW) ETC Theatre for what they've dubbed The Turkeys' Comedy Party. The shows will take place at the BNW's ETC Theatre on Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25 at 9pm. Tickets are on sale now and are available for purchase via the BNW box office online at http://theatre.bravenewworkshop.com/NowShowing/SpecialEventsStandup.aspx or at the door the day of the show.
What is a comedy party? It's a ton of standup, a healthy dose of original videos, and a sprinkling of live-action sketches and animation. Taking place in the intimate ETC Theatre at the BNW, the Turkeys' Comedy Party will bring you some of the funniest, edgiest comedy in Minnesota. They've released a promotional video for the event, which can be viewed at https://youtu.be/JHosxuE70Pw
Group leader Gabe Noah elaborated, "The idea of a 'Comedy Party' really captures the rowdy, clubhouse vibe of our shows. Standup and videos will always be the heart of what we do, but we've added so much more: Puppets, animation, a live remote camera, live sketch, and hopefully a female biker gang." He added, "We just want the audience to come drink and laugh with us and be impressed/depressed at how much money, time, and care we put into this bulls**t."
The Turkeys are comprised of Twin Cities standup mainstays Gabe Noah, Isaac Witty, and Chris Maddock, and Kjell Bjorgen, plus a rotating cast of talented additions.
