The British Invasion 50th Anniversary Tour Hits the Pantages Theatre, March 8

The British Invasion 50th Anniversary Tour, commemorating the Beatles momentous arrival on these shores, will feature a quorum of iconic singers showcasing songs from their own contributions to the legendary 1960s music revolution. Slated to appear together at 7 p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the Pantages Theatre, 710 Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis are Peter Asher (of Peter & Gordon), Denny Laine (of the Moody Blues & Wings), Chad & Jeremy, Billy J. Kramer, Mike Penders Searchers, and Terry Sylvester (of the Hollies). Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, 2014..

Steve Winwood, Iconic Rock and Pop Legend, Performs at the State Theatre, April 17

Steve Winwood, one of the most iconic and influential rock and pop legends of all time, will perform at 8 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2015 at the State Theatre in Minneapolis, 805 Hennepin Avenue. Winwood began as a soulful teenage wonder, pursued more adventurous territory in Traffic and Blind Faith and moved through R&B, jazz, psychedelia, blues-rock and progressive rock as part of his long and varied career. Known for his distinctive voice and in-demand skills as a keyboardist, he continues to create and play new and exciting material as part of solo and other projects. Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, 2014.
