BIG BAD VOODOO DADDY Coming to Mystic Lake
PRIOR LAKE – October 20, 2015 – Big band powerhouse Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will lindy hop and jitterbug into the Twin Cities for two New Year’s Eve performances at 7 and 10 p.m. Thursday, December 31, in the Mystic Showroom.
Formed in 1992 in Ventura, California, by co-founders Scotty Morris and Kurt Sodergren, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy rose to nationwide fame after their appearance in the hit 1996 film Swingers. The band was featured on the soundtrack and in an onscreen performance including their soon-to-be smash hit singles “Go Daddy-O” and “You & Me & the Bottle Makes 3 Tonight (Baby).” Over the past two decades, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has performed with many of the top symphony orchestras in the country and in high-profile television appearances including Dancing with the Stars and the Superbowl XXXIII halftime show. The band has sold over three million albums worldwide including Americana Deluxe, This Beautiful Life, Save My Soul and How Big Can You Get?: The Music of Cab Calloway.
