Eighty Minnesota non-profits to be on display at Mall of America® for HandsOn Twin Cities Volunteer Expo
WHAT: Guests are invited to discover the perfect volunteer opportunity at the HandsOn Twin Cities Volunteer Expo at Mall of America®. From a long-term commitment to a one-time project, the HandsOn Volunteer Expo has opportunities for every guest to make a difference.
On Saturday, Feb. 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., attendees will meet with representatives from eighty Minnesota non-profits to learn about fun and meaningful ways to get involved in a good cause and benefit the community.
The event will also incorporate various speed volunteering activities on-site that include constructing tie blankets for The Miracles of Mitch Foundation, assembling laundry detergent bags for Aeon and creating fleece dog toys for Helping Paws.
Beginning at 1 p.m. at the Rotunda stage, Be the Change awards will be given to volunteers who have shown exemplary service and commitment in the areas of Youth and Education, Economy/Basic Needs, Health and the Environment.
HandsOn Twin Cities is a non-profit organization committed to promoting and facilitating meaningful volunteerism, education and leadership development in the Twin Cities Metro.
