2018 Frozen Faceoff Priority Ticket Sales to Begin on Oct. 9
SAINT PAUL, Minn. - With the 2018 NCHC Frozen Faceoff moving to Xcel Energy Center, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) has announced timing, process and pricing for ticket sales to its fifth annual championship. The two-day tournament is set for Friday and Saturday, March 16-17 at Xcel Energy Center, the home of the NHL's Minnesota Wild.
Loyal, all-session ticket buyers from past Frozen Faceoff tournaments will be given priority and the first opportunity to purchase 2018 Frozen Faceoff tickets beginning Monday, Oct. 9. Previous ticket purchasers will be notified via email on Wednesday, Oct. 4, indicating their priority timeframe and when they will be able to select seats and purchase 2018 Frozen Faceoff tickets.
Remaining ticket packages following the priority period will be made available for sale to the general public on Friday, Oct. 20 at noon CT.
Fans who purchase all-session ticket packages to the 2018 NCHC Frozen Faceoff by Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017 will become a Priority Ticket Member and receive additional perks surrounding the NCHC's championship weekend. Priority Ticket Member perks for the 2018 Frozen Faceoff will be announced at a later date.
All-session ticket packages to the 2018 NCHC Frozen Faceoff include two tickets: one ticket to see both semifinals on Friday, March 16 and one ticket to see the third-place game and championship on Saturday, March 17. On March 16, the first semifinal begins at 4:00 p.m. CT with the second game at 7:30 p.m. CT. The following day, the third-place game begins at 3:30 p.m. CT with the championship at 7:30 p.m. CT.
All tournament packages start at $55 and can be purchased at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office, charged by phone at 800-745-3000 or online at ticketmaster.com. The NCHC will be offering special ticket pricing for NCHC member school students to the Frozen Faceoff. All-session student tickets and the process to purchase them will be released after Jan. 1, 2018.

*On the Glass tickets receive seats in the first row of the 100-level sections plus access to the Audi quattro Club during the tournament with complimentary beer, wine, soda and food.
Along with the four hockey games at Xcel Energy Center, a NCHC Fan Fest will be held prior to games each day. Other events, including the annual NCHC Awards Celebration and the Official Post-Game Party location, surrounding the 2018 Frozen Faceoff will be announced at a later date.
For a second straight year in 2017, allfour NCHC Frozen Faceoff participants also earned berths in the NCAA Tournament, with two making the NCAA Frozen Four and the University of Denver becoming the conference's second-straight national champion. The NCHC's fifth season gets underway with five exhibition games on Saturday, Sept. 30 while the 2017-18 regular season begins Friday, Oct. 6 with six NCHC teams in action.
