2016 Outstanding Volunteer Award Winners Announced

Roseville, Minn. - Associations North announced winners of its prestigious Outstanding Volunteer
Awards during the Associations North Leadership Conference held in Alexandria, MN October 16-18, 2016.
These awards recognize members who exemplify strong support and participation needed to make
Associations North thrive and succeed.

This year marks the tenth year Associations North has awarded deserving members of these awards.
Ann Kvaal, CAE, Owner, AK Communications, Associations North Board Chair said, “The 2016
awards program demonstrates the dedication, participation and commitment Associations North
members have to this organization.” According to the 2016 award judges, “Each nominee was worthy
of an award and showed exemplary dedication and service to Associations North.”

2016 honors were awarded to the following recipients:

• Best Supporting Company – Allegra Downtown St. Paul / Image 360
• Association Volunteer of the Year – Toni Nuernberg, CAE, Forius NACM North Central
• Allied Volunteer of the Year – Justin Bieganek, Mercury Creative Group
• Makes a Difference – Melvin Tennant, CAE, Meet Minneapolis
