2013 Holiday Lights Tours announced by Award-Winning City Tours

(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) Oct. 31, 2012 Award-Winning City Tours announces its annual Holiday Lights Tour; an opportunity to celebrate community spirit and the warmth of the season with family and friends. Now celebrating its 23rd year, Holiday Lights Tours are made available to the public on three prime Saturdays before Christmas. The 2013 dates are Saturdays Dec. 7, 14 and 21. The Holiday Lights Tour, an annual family tradition for many, travels through the colorful city streets and beautiful decorative lights of local merchants and residents. While aboard a warm deluxe motorcoach, a knowledgeable tour guide provides commentary on holiday traditions and local lore. Guests experience quiet residential neighborhoods as well as bustling city streets.

All tours depart from Mall of America from the Transit Center, East side. Tours operate from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $29 per adult, $28 per senior 55 and older, $23 per student ages 13 to 21, $20 per child ages 6 to 12, and children 5 and under not requiring a seat receive free admission.

Holiday Lights Tours also make a great activity for groups. Private Holiday Lights Tours are available for groups from Dec. 6 through Dec. 21. The private group tour follows the same route as the public tour. All cancellations must occur seven days prior to the tour to receive full refund.
