We've also put together a list of heated patios in Minneapolis.
1. Bauhaus Brew Labs
Bauhaus has an expansive patio with plenty of picnic tables, a rotating food truck, and often concerts, games of bags, and events.
2. Fulton
Located a few blocks from Target Field, Fulton is the perfect spot to grab a beer before or after the game! Sit out on their deck and enjoy eats from their Taproom Kitcen with one of their signature beers or hard seltzers.
3. Sociable Cider Werks
If you’re more of a cider drinker or looking for a gluten free option, head to Sociable Cider Werks and try their rotating list of hard ciders. Head to one of their picnic tables just outside the taproom to bask in the sun with your cider or flight.
4. Padraigs Brewing
Refreshing beer, plenty of games, and a gorgeous patio…you must be at Padraigs Brewing (formerly 612). Sit at any of their tables outside or get competitive with a game of giant Jenga.
5. Surly
Surly is the King of outdoor patios! You’ll find an expansive lawn fit for energetic children, happy dogs and plenty of beer drinkers. Sit at their picnic tables to order food from the restaurant or grab a bench around one of their fire pits.
6. LynLake Brewery
Overlook the Uptown neighborhood as you sip a brew on LynLake Brewery's rooftop. Order food from The Burger Joint and eat at one of their picnic tables, or sit around the fire and chat with friends.
7. Brühaven
You'll come to Brühaven for the craft beer, but you'll stay for the atmosphere. Sit outside on the sidewalk patio during the summer, or hang out inside (where the garage doors will be open if it's nice out) and take in live music, trivia nights, or try your hand at axe throwing. Brühaven dog-friendly on the patio and in the taproom! Don't forget to visit them in the morning for coffee.
8. Fair State Co-op
This community-focused brewery is cooperatively owned and union-made. The taproom and beer garden in the Holland neighborhood in Northeast Minneapolis features innovative beers made with local ingredients.
9. The Freehouse
Both a restaurant and a brewery, the Freehouse is a great place to grab a bite and a brew while enjoying their outdoor seating. Open early in the morning and late into the night, Freehouse is a crowd pleaser any time of day.
10. La Doña Cervecería
Enjoy La Doña's spacious patio and miniature soccer court! Watch league games, rent the court for yourself, or participate in pick-up games.
11. Indeed Brewing Co
Indeed’s intimate patio is the perfect spot for date night or catching up with friends over great beer. They have a rotating food truck and they also offer flights if you’re feeling indecisive.
12. Inbound Brewing Co
While Inbound only has a few tables actually outside, their open concept gives you the best of both worlds. The doors all around the taproom open up, allowing you to feel the breeze and soak up the sun even from inside.
13. Pryes Brewing Co
With one of the best IPAs in town and a patio with a view of the riverfront, you can’t go wrong with Pryes Brewing! They even serve woodfired pizza as well as a variety of apps all made in-house by Cason Italian Eatery.
14. Insight Brewing
This family-friendly brewery has the perfect outdoor patio to work on your tan and sip on something interesting (like a beer brewed with anchovy hops, perhaps?) With plenty of outdoor activities and games for the kids to enjoy, and a welcome spot for man's best friend too, you'll want to spend the whole day out on their patio trying out one of their many seasonal beers.
15. Utepils Brewing
Nestled on the banks of Bassett Creek between the Harrison & Bryn Mawr neighborhoods of Minneapolis, Utepils’ 18,000 square foot site features an iconic taproom, relaxing outdoor beer garden, rotating food trucks, and craft beer made using the highest quality water artesian spring water from historic wells in Minneapolis.
16. Wild Mind Ales
During the summer, gather with friends (and pets) on the South Minneapolis Wild Mind Ales patio with a sour-ale soft serve cone in hand. If you're more of a traditionalist, choose one of their delicious and unique craft beers. On the patio, you'll find ample seating and a lovely summer atmosphere with picture-perfect string lights.
17. Modist Brewing
Heading to Target Field for a Twins Game? Stop by Modist Brewing before you go to enjoy a craft beer on the patio with other Twins fans.
