Many voices, many stories, one place. Discover 10,000 years of Minnesota history at Historic Fort Snelling. Visitors will learn about the 1820s military fort and its surrounding area, home to a wide history that includes Native peoples, trade, soldiers and veterans, enslaved people, immigrants, and the changing landscape. The newly-renovated Plank Museum & Visitor Center is open year-round.
