Join St. Joseph’s School of Music-Saint Paul Conservatory of Music for a free performance series at the Minnesota History Center. Each concert features a unique program performed by members of the recently-merged music school’s faculty. For many years, Saint Paul Conservatory of Music has presented their daytime monthly Coffee Concerts. Don’t miss this chance to hear the series in the beautiful History Center Museum on select Thursday nights!
Each summer, students travel from throughout the country to study with the Jasper String Quartet, who leads the Saint Paul Chamber Music Institute at SJSM-SPCM. Enjoy this opportunity to hear this award-winning string quartet in performance! Celebrated as one of the preeminent American string quartets of the twenty-first century, the prizewinning Jasper String Quartet is highly regarded for its programming savvy which strives to evocatively connect the music of underrepresented and living composers to the canonical repertoire through thoughtful programs that appeal to a wide variety of audiences.
