Walker Art Center
All bangers, no mash! The annual British Arrows Awards serves up the latest and greatest in UK moving image advertising. This year’s screening features everything from Olivia Colman as an oil baron to Salma Hayek as a party crasher. Experimenting with both form and content, the show encompasses mini documentaries, sci-fi spoofs, animation, and more. Tapping into quiet nostalgia and raucous humor alike, the annual year-end tradition offers a compendium of stories that are as surprising as they are human. British Arrows bars will open for beverage service one hour prior to 7 and 8 pm shows, Thursday through Saturday. All in-person British Arrows tickets include free gallery admission!

Buddy was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler, and raised among Santa’s elves. This holiday season Buddy travels to New York—with the Minnesota Orchestra! Experience John Debney’s wonderful score as the full film plays on the big screen.

The City of Lakes Loppet Winter Festival is a two-day festival that includes the Luminary Loppet, which is the most magical night of winter; a variety of point-to-point Cross-Country Ski, Fat-Tire Bike, Skijor, and Snowshoe events, both competitive races and recreational touring events through Theodore Wirth Park; and a number of unique events, such as the Captain Ken's Kubb Tournament – plus much more.

Lake of the Isles
The candlelit Luminary Loppet is the Twin Cities’ most magical event of the season. Come out to Lake of the Isles and enjoy the Luminary Loppet where you can walk, snowshoe, or ski on the candlelit trail winding across the lake. Experience 1,200 luminaries lining the trail with unique ice features and much more – all in the heart of Uptown. Refreshments such as hot chocolate will be offered at tents across the lake. Food trucks, beer, and music are located at the Luminary Party.
